1. Myth: Private Browsing makes us anonymous on the Internet
Reality: It doesn't mask anybody identity or activity. According to Mozila, Websites and ISPs can still track your visits. A VPN is needed for true anonymity. mxm VPN will only change to a random adress.
2. Myth: Private Browsing removes all traces of browsing activity
Reality: It doesn't save passwords, cookies, or browsing history, but downloaded files remain on our computer. Bookmarks created in Private Browsing will still appear in your list.
I guess everyone knows this
3. Myth: Private Browsing doesn’t display any browsing history
Reality: Visited sites and bookmarks may still show up in the address bar. You can disable this in Firefox's settings if preferred.
I wonder if it is the case for other browsers. Okay chromium browsers operates in similar vein.
4. Myth: Private Browsing protects against keystroke loggers and spyware
Reality: It doesn't protect against malware. If you suspect malware, take steps to remove it.
Private Browsing offers limited privacy and is not a substitute for comprehensive online security measures.
