I Cease To Care

I don't know if this is a rough update, we all have to accept that this was written by a tired David. I cease to care about a fancy update. 🥴; I hope this post finds everyone well! 🌟

Recently, I took a leap and joined the IndieWeb community. It's been an exciting shift—one that encourages me to reclaim ownership of my online presence. Since then, I've been exploring new ways to connect, share, and break free from the noise of centralized platforms. 🌐

Going Back to Making Comics

Now, let's talk about something close to my heart: comics. 🤨 Are you surprised and you don't know? Well it's because It's been a while since I delved into creating them. Life got busy, and all of my comic series since 2016 remained unfinished.

I used to draw on paper create comic zines in school and in 2020 I went digital and that was the end of it thanks to the teachers and my parents flogging it out of me 🥴 for exams sake. I lost interest and guess what? I'm back! 🎨

Introducing "I Cease to Care"

Let's forget the history, there is another post for it.

I've started a fresh comic series titled "I Cease to Care". The name might sound a tad unconventional, but it reflects my current mindset.

I've delved into a lot of interests and many that make me feel like my head will explode.

This world is just too vast, intricate, and sometimes too overwhelming.; and with the situation of things in Nigeria right now eh ... 🇳🇬 You know what? I'm starting to let go of caring about many things. I'll use this series to express it all🌍

I Cease to Care Weekly Panels

Every week I'll surely have something to disconnect my mind from. Mxm 🌚 I'm not disconnecting from life itself. 🤷🏾‍♂️ No need to think like this is triggered by some other kind of strong emotion I Cease to Care about.

This is coming from someone who broke the heart of his friends because he leaves his comic projects halfway. 🥲 Thanks All!  this time, I hope to change; since this series will be a quick maybe one panel expression and will probably take me maximum of 3 days to plan a layout and 8 to 24 hours to draw .

Here's the plan: Every week, I'll share a new panel from "I Cease to Care."  I'm making Saturdays like a deadline to keep with it. So it's decided that Saturdays are our rendezvous days. 🖼️

Make Sure to Enjoy the series

I lost my art style and might use this comic series to rekindle the art. I never had the talent but I once got used to it and will still be able to do it again for this purpose. And I'm bring back my comics to this site.

All comic series would be listed on the comics page

This might not be the most eloquent announcement. But hey, I cease to care.

MxM It's the end of the post

I cease to care comic

Stay tuned, my friends.

Happy expecting 🤗
