"To write about oneself is a daunting task, as Michel de Montaigne once said, 'We are all patchwork, and so shapeless and diverse in composition that each bit, each moment, plays its own game.'" Yet, despite the complexity, I'm taking on the challenge. After all, no one can write about myself as intimately as I can.
As I sit here in 2025, I'm aware that I'm still unraveling the mystery of myself. I'm human, and that's both a blessing and a curse. My mind and nature are deep, with layers waiting to be discovered. As I write this, I'm not just introducing the current me to you, but also to my future self.
Hi, I'm David, but I'm working on becoming SDavidPrince. SDavidPrince is a character, a version of myself that I'm crafting through conversations with my inner critic and inner advocate. He's the embodiment of who I aspire to be. Did I become him? Only time will tell.
For now, I can say that I'm figuring it out, constructing my own worldview, and navigating the intricacies of life. I'm simple, yet complex; extroverted, yet introverted. I'm a lifelong learner, with a passion for growth and exploration. My skills and interests are diverse, reflecting the many facets of my personality.
If I had to choose an animal that represents me, I would say it's the octopus. Like the octopus, I'm adaptable, curious, and always learning. I have many tentacles, each exploring different aspects of life, and I'm constantly evolving, shedding old skin to reveal new colors and patterns.
As I continue on this journey of self-discovery, I'm excited to see who SDavidPrince will become. Will I live up to the name? Only my future self will know.
