What Else You Should Know

Blogger was actually created by Pyra Labs, not Google. Google acquired it in 2003. Then, blogger was just blogging application services that used your own domain and your own hosting provider for the storage of your blog, and FTP as an API to edit your site. If the Blogger application went down, your site still worked (to serve your posts) - the only thing you couldn't do was use the application to edit or publish new posts.

Now, It hosts your site and your files and gives a free .blogspot.com sub domain where anyone can visit your site.

You can also use a custom domain (eg your name.com) with Blogger for free, unlike some other platforms that charge for this feature.

You can download a backs up of your entire blog, including templates, posts, and comments. Incase of anything 🙌🏾 keep your backup you can even change or switch to other platforms and still have your site the way it is.

Interesting Things About Blogger

Blogger integrates seamlessly with Google AdSense, making it easier for bloggers to monetize their content if they choose to.

The platform offers built-in analytics, allowing you to track your blog's performance without additional tools.

Blogger has no storage limits for images, which is great for photo-heavy blogs.

Blogger also has no storage limits for videos as far as I learned.

I Scrolled to The End of This Post

I hope you now know how easy it is to start blogging on blogger.  And remember, while these facts highlight Blogger's strengths, it's important to note that it may not be the best choice for everyone.

Its simplicity is perfect for beginners and personal blogs, but more advanced users might find it limiting compared to self-hosted solutions.

Starting a blog on Blogger is seriously that easy. It's perfect if you're just dipping your toes into the blogging world or if you want a no-fuss platform for your thoughts or brand.

So, what are you waiting for? Give it a try and start sharing your voice with the world. Happy blogging!

P.S. Remember, I use Blogger for my own site, so if you have any questions, just drop them in the comments. I'm here to help!
