Skills and Knowledge I Want to Explore

The image of a cartoon man in black wearing a suit and on his phone with a speech bubble saying I want to learn

Maybe this post is for me only.🥴 I just want to note down that:

There are still quite a few things I want to learn, and while I’m not aiming to be an expert in every field, I do want to have a well-rounded, general knowledge in certain areas.

Here’s a breakdown of the categories and topics that interest me, many of which I’ll explore further as I continue my journey.

Technology Trends:

I'm fascinated by emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), Quantum Computing, Augmented Reality (AR), and Cybersecurity. I want to understand their potential impacts on both individuals and industries.

While I won’t be diving deep into programming these innovations, I’d like to stay informed on how they’re shaping the world. That's all there is to say I reserve the rest deeper down.

Imagine being in the future with my kids and they get to be the one teaching me how tech works. 🥴 That is not happening 🥲 I'm following the trend.

Global Tech News:

Keeping up with global tech news and tech industry updates is the best way to stay on top of the trends and changes.

From breakthroughs in AI to shifts in fintech, I’m interested in understanding the broader implications of these developments. Thanks to Techcrunch, Techcabal, The Verge" Hacker News Mashable and others I follow on my feed reader. Have a look at my blogroll.

Creative Writing:

I love stories, and creative writing is something I’ve always want to be profound with.

I want to refine my writing abilites as well as story telling. It’s not about becoming a novelist like Wole Shoyinka, but about expressing myself through words more effectively.

Web Development:

As someone who already done some web work, having a deeper knowledge of frontend and backend development is essential.

I know enough to get by, but won't stay to lack behind.

I’m always seeking to learn about new tools and web development frameworks that could help me streamline my process.

There are still some accessibility stuffs and many other web technologies that progresses time by time. Now i'm comfortable with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP.

Digital Ethics:

With the ever-growing tech landscape, learning about privacy, data security, and the ethical implications of technology use is crucial.

I want to explore topics like how we can balance innovation with responsible use, especially in terms of data privacy.

Educational Resources:

I believe in lifelong learning and enjoy exploring new learning materials and educational tools

I want to get better at curating the best resources and making learning more accessible, whether it's through sharing on my site or developing resources myself.

Everything now on the internet is a course lol but I should always find ways and tools.

User Experience (UX) Design:

The concept of User Experience (UX) is something that fascinates me. It’s about understanding how people interact with digital products and improving those interactions.

I’m not a designer by trade, but I want to have enough knowledge to enhance user satisfaction in projects I work on.

I still cringe over this site design 😬. Don't preach to me about minimalism; that won't give the challenge I want.

I'm still curious of more things to learn and  know about. There’s so much more out there, and this might just be the start or what i'm chosen to add to how i live this lifetime.

Whether it's developing a basic understanding of emerging fields or finding ways to apply them creatively, my goal isn’t to master everything. I still have my Art skills to hone. I simply want to be informed, curious, and open to learning.

Happy Knowing
